University Raises $230 Million, Campaign Sets New Record for Giving
Outpouring of support fuels reimagined role of the University and liberal arts while strengthening connections around the world.

The Campaign for Every Laurentian is the most successful fundraising initiative in University history. Over 20,000 Laurentians helped us exceed our goal and raise over $230 Million! The George W. Karpus ’68 Athletic Center at Appleton Arena will include locker rooms and facilities for the men's and women’s lacrosse, field hockey, softball, and men's and women’s rowing teams. It will also include an expansion of the Michael “Buddy” Cornacchia ’74 Strength and Conditioning Center to prepare Division III student-athletes for competition. Supporting this exciting, new chapter of Appleton Arena will ensure a successful experience for generations of future Saints.

“The 50-50s Don Leet Legacy Fund” (“50-50s Fund”) is a new endowment fund, supported by donors to the men’s lacrosse program, to honor and support men’s lacrosse student-athletes as they strive to uphold the values of character, competitiveness, grit, effort, determination, persistence, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence so important to Coach Leet’s daily philosophy as a coach, mentor, husband, father and friend.
St. Lawrence University exceeded its goal for The Campaign for Every Laurentian, raising more than $230 million in gifts and commitments during the University’s largest comprehensive fundraising initiative in the institution’s 165-year history.
$230 million in gifts and commitments
20,000 donors made over 70,000 individual gifts to St. Lawrence and The Campaign.
72 percent of faculty and staff made financial contributions to The Campaign.
Giving from Laurentian parents exceeded $37 million.
Individual donations of up to $1,000 totaled nearly $8 million
More than 3,000 volunteers—including our major and planned gift committee, trustees, annual fund and reunion planners, event hosts, career mentors, internship hosts, panelists, and more
The University’s endowment also grew to nearly $400 million.
Eight of the ten largest gifts in the University’s history were made during this Campaign,
